Here's the tracklist:
Unless otherwise noted, all cd rips will be at V0, and all vinyl rips will be encoded at 256kb. I have a vinyl and demo tape list up here: How's Your Edge. Feel free to browse it and make a request. The goal here is to make sure that people are still hearing lots of great hardcore/punk/metal that has since gone out of print.

Oh man, I've been looking for this comp since I left it at my college radio station like 9 years ago. Thank you!
i was the singer of the band Line Drive who appears on this comp. it's funny to see this thing floating around on the internet, I didn't think anyone ever heard it.
the story was that issa diao "forced" every band that came in to his studio to record a cover song. even if you didn't know one...just make one up on the spot. at our first recording session with him, we did "straight edge revenge" which was originally supposed to be on a project x covers 7" that never came out. according to issa, that session birthed the "atlanta back-ups" vocal style, which, i guess, just meant a shit ton of people screaming into a single microphone, and then randomly talking. not so sure if that's a legitimate "style", but oh well.
anyhoo, the next time we came to his studio we ended up quickly learning a version of "true til death" that was renamed "true til jeff" in tribute to atlanta scene maven jeff-j-jawk. again, this song was supposed to come out on an all jeff-j-jawk tribute record (other aborted titles..."jawk is cheap") which not surprisingly, never saw the light of day.
so there you go, a long story you weren't expecting to hear, but i'm bored on a sunday morning, and i appreciate you making the music available.
Oh man, you just made my day. I had this CD, and have been looking for it, forever! I LOVE Thenceforward's "Walk Like an Egyptian" Good ole ATL DIY days!
jawk is cheap...
